We are now looking for a textile arts teacher for Anundsjö School, grades 4–9. Could you be the one we are looking for?
If you are new to the profession, Örnsköldsvik Municipality offers an induction program for new teachers, which means you will have a mentor during your first year. Your mentor is an experienced teacher with the same subject specialization who can guide and support you.
Responsibilities
You will teach textile arts in grades 4–9 and will have overall responsibility for the student group. This includes handling the documentation and contacts that the role entails. Contact and cooperation with guardians are an important part of the job. You will work together with a work team to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a teacher's degree with subject specialization in textile arts. You thrive on challenges, like to think new thoughts, and see differences and diversity as a natural foundation for learning and development. You are a confident adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a good atmosphere in the student group and work team is second nature to you.
We would appreciate it if you have experience in leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and the ability to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are receptive, take responsibility, are engaged, and creative.
Please attach your CV and cover letter to your application.
We look forward to receiving your application!
